Ban appeal IFvckedYou

Hello there,
I've been playing on the bolt sniper server for bf4 for so long and it's my
favorite server.
I was banned few days ago and with this message:
"Game disconnected: you were kicked by an admin. Stated reason: DPS
Automatic Ban [4-QSZ92-45-114-14-248] [perm][AutoAdmin]"

I never cheated or tried to in any game I played before, and certainly not
in bf4. since I unlocked the CS5 I've been doing 80 damage or more and
finishing with the QSZ-92, and I think that's the reason of the stats.

You have played on our server WBKS 4 bolt action sniper and pistol only. in a certain round you had a kph (percentage of kills per shot hit) of 52 with the qsz-92. the maximum damage that pistol does is 22. with a headsoht, i would do around 50. You had 0 headshots in that round though.

So in a normall server you were possible to 2 shot people with a low damage pistol, having a 44% higher damage than usual on that gun. That is the reason the autoadmin banned you. I've worked through a decent amount of DPS bans for BF4DB and at the moment i see no explation for this KPH being this high, as it is not been used in HC servers (eventhough this only creates a 30% higher DPS).

i found another round which has the same stat with another pistol:

I reported him myself after looking into the evidence. But as agree on waiting for them, as they know best regarding these stats.

Hello There,
I understand what you're saying, even though it's not completely fair. When I play on this server I run around with the CS5 *since it's a sniper server* and shooting anyone I see. some of them are one shot kills and some of them do an 80 damage or so, and instead of waiting I switch to the pistol and finish with it, and usually it takes one or 2 bullets only, so the server counts it this way and it's unfair. it's just my style, it's not hack. I did this with the p226 and I do it with the qsz too and I don't see anything wrong with it since I'm not breaking any rules.

I believe that this is unfair and looking at the numbers alone is not useful.

after doing some research on fairplay stats and bf4db and myrcon forum it's apparent that the DMG/DPS is calculated the same way as kph *which is not entirely accurate*, which is in my case 116 kills for 261 hits and by using simple math it's 44.44%, same as DMG on bf4db. and since I'm shooting with the CS5 first, it doesn't take a lot of bullets to kill so it means less bullets fired+more kills=high kph stats for a pistol that I unlocked and mainly used on the sniper server.
it's not a damage mod or sth like what someone might think, it's just inaccurate calculation for the damage on bf4db since it's using the wrong formula for the damage
idk if I just repeated myself or not but I thought this was worth saying after what I noticed today while looking things up

The autoadmin detected this, it read the dps statistics and kicked you out. I will talk this through with BF4DB and send this feedback to our admins. What they do with this feedback is their choice.

Scavenger from Bf4db confirms this theory. Player is declared clean. An unlucky combination of factors show his kph looks higher than it is.
