vouzou glitch permanent block

I'm going to be honest. Two days ago I did use vouzou glitch jump to confuse players and make it easier to kill them with knife.

I'm not going to justify my actions and I fully agree that ban is fair.
But is there a chance that the duration of the block can be reduced?
Maybe a week ban?
This is the only rule-breaking glitch I've used. I promise not use it again.
